Our Story

Prime-wolf began in 2018 when two lifelong animal lovers recognised a gap in Glasgow's pet care landscape. Too many grooming services felt rushed and impersonal, treating pets as tasks rather than individuals with distinct personalities and needs.

We set out to create something different: a service where every dog, cat, and small animal receives unhurried attention from professionals who genuinely understand animal behaviour. Our team has grown since those early days, but our founding principle remains unchanged.

Today, we serve hundreds of Glasgow families, and many of our earliest clients remain with us. We consider that the truest measure of what we do.

Our Approach

We believe grooming should never be stressful for your pet. That is why we take extra time during initial visits, allowing animals to explore the space and meet our team before any grooming begins.

Our techniques draw on positive reinforcement principles. We use treats, gentle handling, and plenty of breaks to ensure each session feels safe for your companion. Nervous pets receive additional patience, never pressure.

What Guides Us

Our work is shaped by core values that influence every decision, from how we train our staff to which products we stock.

Animal Welfare First

The wellbeing of every pet in our care comes before convenience, speed, or profit. If an animal needs extra time or a different approach, that is what we provide. No compromise.

Honest Communication

We share observations about your pet's coat, skin, and behaviour openly. If we spot something unusual, you will know. Trust requires transparency.

Environmental Care

From biodegradable grooming products to energy-efficient equipment, we strive to minimise our environmental footprint without compromising service quality.
